Mother’s Day Watercolor

I am so thankful to have a mom who has sacrificed her time, energy, and resources to take care of my sisters and me. This Mother’s Day I was thinking about all the special moments my mom and I have shared over the years, and some of the most special ones are when she took time out of her day to just have fun with me. Moms are superheroes when it come to making sure everyone is fed, taken care of, and where they need to be. But what really makes my mom special is that she also took the time to do simple but significant things with me like spontaneous tea parties, helping me with a craft project, baking a special birthday cake for me, or just taking the time to talk with me about the day. I am so blessed to have a mom like that. She inspires me to go beyond the bare minimum. She inspires me to take more time out of my life and invest it in the people around me – just like she does.
