Family Farmhouse Illustration

One day I was looking through my grandma’s old photographs for painting inspiration and I came across several pictures of old family homes. One in particular stood out to me because of its sweet farmhouse charm. I found out later that my grandpa’s great grandfather was the one who built the house. Then, when my grandma was 15, her family moved into the house. There are several pictures of family members in front of this house starting from my grandma’s childhood and up to when my mom was a little girl visiting her grandma. I’m sure the rooms, front porch, and farmland hold many memories. This house has served as the background of many family photos and special moments. I love being able to capture the home itself as a reminder of all the special stories and memories that were made there.
